About the piece
Roots is the freest piece in the collection. Bands of different knots rise and fall in wavy lines, small tassels peek out at the sides, and the fringe hangs longer on one side than the other, like roots. No two sides are the same, and that's what gives it movement.
At 80 × 100 cm, it brings texture to a plain wall without needing anything else around it. It looks great in a living room with a natural style, a bedroom or an entrance, next to a large plant or a vase of dried flowers, as in the photograph.
Handmade in Ericeira, one piece at a time, with 100% natural cotton cord made in Portugal and a branch gathered from nature, sanded and varnished.
