About the piece
Savanna is one of our larger wall hangings. The design opens into a V shape from the branch: first a row of fan-shaped knots, then wide plaits that come down diagonally and meet in the centre, finishing in a long fringe that tapers to a point. Several knotting techniques come together in the same piece, and it's this mix of textures that gives it depth when the light catches it from the side.
At 100 cm wide, it calls for a wall with space around it. It looks great above a two or three-seater sofa, a double bed headboard, or a long sideboard. A simple rule: choose a wall hanging about two-thirds the width of the piece of furniture beneath it.
Handmade in Ericeira, one piece at a time, with 100% natural cotton cord made in Portugal and a branch gathered from nature, sanded and varnished.

Vacuum gently to remove dust. If a spot gets dirty, brush only that area with water and mild soap. Avoid humidity and direct sun.
