About the piece
In Ocean, the top section is a net of large, open diamonds, which lets the wall show through behind it. At the centre sits a shell gathered from the beaches of Ericeira, and below hangs a long, straight fringe. It's one of the lightest pieces in the collection, with more empty space than knot.
At 60 × 75 cm, this is a medium-sized wall hanging. It looks great in a bedroom, a bathroom with natural light or an entrance, and pairs well with light wood, natural fibres and plants.
Handmade in Ericeira, one piece at a time, with 100% natural cotton cord made in Portugal and a branch gathered from nature, sanded and varnished.
